Gabriela Melzer b. 1999
Gabriela Melzer (1999) lives and works in São Paulo. She lived in New York, where she refined her painting and drawing technique through courses at the New School and Art Students League of NYC. Through movement and color, Melzer delves into the immediacy and accelerated transformation that constitute the contemporary world. She absorbs her surroundings, seeking to redefine and interconnect its elements, creating dreamlike landscapes with dense and rounded forms. As in a permanently open dialogue, the dance of colors and their organic flow invite the viewer to unveil the possibilities of the work from their own perspective and contemplation of the interconnected spaces between them. Notable exhibitions she has participated in include Lux Feminae (Collective, by Olivia Zabludovicz and Lily Cohen, New York, 2022); So Show (Collective, São Paulo, 2022.)
